Job summary

Pace® seeks a Courier to join our environmental services team. You will be responsible for safe, timely pickup, transport, and delivery of environmental samples and materials that support laboratory operations, ensuring sample integrity and data accuracy that protects communities.

You’ll work Monday–Friday with potential overtime. A valid driver's license and a willingness to learn and follow procedures are required, and you’ll contribute to a positive, customer-focused work environment at Pace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain all required licenses.
• Knowledge of safe driving, customer service, and sample transport principles.
• Ability to learn and follow organizational policies, procedures, and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good judgment, professionalism, and discretion when interacting with others.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials.
• Review, complete, and process documents, databases, and related information for sample pick-up, transport, and delivery.
• Prepare your assigned vehicle for daily operations, including documentation, safety checks, and basic maintenance needs.
• Provide support and assistance to staff and management related to sample transport procedures.
• Assist in researching issues and recommend solutions to improve processes and resolve customer, staff, or management concerns.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, seeking guidance or escalating issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency by offering suggestions and actively participating in team efforts.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer‑focused work environment aligned with Pace® values.
