Job summary

The Chemours is seeking an in-house counsel to provide real-time, practical legal advice to U.S. clients located within the Wilmington area and at manufacturing sites. You will coordinate with internal teams to align on broader issues crossing subject matters and country borders.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, practical legal advice to Chemours’ U.S. clients located within the management of our businesses in Wilmington or at manufacturing sites.
• Environmental aspects will include engaging with multiple stakeholders (business/corporate clients, internal remediation group, government affairs, regulatory agencies and peers) on various legal projects including administrative actions and litigation, to ensure that business goals are met and deliverables are achieved with efficiency and appropriate levels of collaboration and communication.
• This role requires engaging the proper mix of internal and external resources to manage appropriate aspects of the legal work. This includes identifying strategies, articulating the scope of work, setting budgets, controlling costs, managing outside counsel and meeting deadlines.

Pay Range (in local currency):

$141,120.00 - $220,500.00
