Environmental Conservation - Adjunct Faculty (Pool)

Position Overview

This is a pool of qualified candidates for potential part-time, non-benefited adjunct faculty positions during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. Applications are stored in a discipline-specific pool and reviewed when positions become available. Applicants may not be notified unless selected for an interview.

Responsibilities
  • Instruction in traditional and non-traditional learning modes, including instructional preparation.
  • Assessment of student performance and timely submission of grades.
  • Availability to students by appointment.
  • Participation in faculty meetings (not exceeding one per session).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in the relevant content area.
  • Evidence of competence in instruction.
  • Maintaining expertise relevant to teaching responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of teaching experience at a community college.

Applicants should demonstrate how their background and experience meet the qualifications if they lack the stated minimums.

Compensation

Lecture: $4,191.00 - $5,064.00 (3 credits); $5,588.00 - $6,752.00 (4 credits). Lab: $6,259.00 - $7,562.00 (4 credits).
