Job summary

HLBMA LLC is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist I to support regulatory compliance for manufacturing operations. You will work with Operations, Engineering, and EH&S teams to identify environmental risks, maintain documentation, and support sustainability initiatives.

Entry-level with development potential into advanced responsibilities. Responsibilities include permitting, regulatory reporting, EMS maintenance, and data-driven environmental performance tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Environmental Engineering strongly preferred; related fields also considered.
• Relevant environmental compliance or regulatory experience may substitute for full-time experience.
• Internship or Co-op experience in environmental compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental permitting activities including air and wastewater, storm water, and waste reporting.
• Support preparation of regulatory reports (Tier II, Form R, GHG).
• Maintain compliance calendars and records to meet reporting deadlines.
• Support EMS implementation aligned with ISO 14001 requirements.
• Assist with internal environmental audits and corrective action tracking.
