Job summary

You will analyze policy drafting, develop plans, and review communications on environmental regulations while coordinating training for staff and contractors.

You will conduct inspections, update permits, and provide NEPA guidance to project managers, with travel up to 25% and a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with environmental compliance and environmental planning, or 5+ years of experience with environmental compliance and environmental planning in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting government facilities.
• Analyze drafting of policy statements, SOPs, fact sheets, and communications on environmental regulations.
• Develop and review environmental compliance and management plans.
• Provide regulatory guidance to facilitate compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct environmental compliance inspections, audits, and evaluations.
• Update and monitor regulatory permits and develop training for government employees and contractors.
• Review NEPA documentation and advise project managers on NEPA applicability.
• Provide project management for surge initiatives and stewardship activities.
