Job Summary

An Engineering Associate I participates in engineering design of limited scope and assists with major designs. This role involves no supervisory duties, with close supervision from a technical superior. Work is performed in an office setting with minimal physical exertion.

Minimum Qualifications

On or before the application date, candidates must:

  • Have graduated from an accredited high school or possess a GED.
  • Have three years of engineering drafting experience, including one year in design.
  • Or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of engineering drafting materials, equipment, practices, and procedures.
  • Skill in drawing plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
  • Ability to perform algebra, geometry, and trigonometry calculations.
  • Ability to understand engineering plans and specifications.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships.
  • Ability to write correspondence.
Additional Information

Candidates may be required to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting. All selected candidates must complete a six-month probationary period.
