Job summary

APTIM Federal Services in Concord, CA is seeking a DoD SkillBridge Environmental Project Compliance Specialist to support the Solid Waste Services Group. The role emphasizes stormwater, SPCC, SWPPP compliance and environmental reporting.

Candidates should have QISP credentials, a BS/MS in a relevant field, 4–10 years of compliance experience, and the ability to collaborate with contractors and clients across multiple sites. Travel may be required; salary ranges $85K–$120K.

Qualifications

• Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP).
• BS/MS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 4–10 years of compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater regulations and environmental programs.
• Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player and problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance reports, work plans, and studies.
• Develop and manage SWPPP and SPCC plans for industrial projects.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce SWPPP/SPCC requirements.
• Prepare environmental reports and permit applications.
• Assist in monitoring, training, testing, and reporting protocols.
• Travel to project sites for audits and meetings.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members.
