Job summary

EnSafe’s Bowling Green, KY office seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist to evaluate regulatory status, aid permits, and help facilities meet environmental obligations. You will conduct inspections, develop and revise programs, and prepare EPCRA and other reports.

Ideal candidates have BS degrees in environmental sciences and experience in EHS consulting, with travel to client sites and strong organizational skills. Local/regional travel is common.

Qualifications

BS in Environmental, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent sciences.
Prefer 3 years’ experience in EHS consulting.
HAZWOPER 40 hr is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performing environmental inspections at client facilities.
Develop and revise EPA/OSHA written programs (SPCC, stormwater, groundwater, waste minimization).
Complete annual EPCRA reports (Tier 2, Form R) and other reporting (NetDMR, EPA CDX).
Perform air emission calculations and reporting.
Regulatory research and training at client facilities.
EHS sample collection and monitoring (soil, hazardous waste, stormwater, wastewater).
Subcontractor oversight and health & safety management.
