Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 0-3 years of direct multimedia regulatory experience or relevant coursework.
• Proficiency with Microsoft platform applications, including Excel, and the ability to organize and analyze data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage assigned work, follow through on commitments, and collaborate effectively with project teams.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• OSHA HAZWOPER training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support multimedia environmental compliance and permitting projects involving air quality, water, wastewater, SPCC, and hazardous waste.
• Assist with technical analyses, regulatory research, data review, and calculations.
• Take ownership of assigned technical tasks and project deliverables, completing work accurately and on schedule while communicating progress, questions, and potential issues.
• Assist with environmental audits, site inspections, compliance evaluations, field documentation, and follow-up actions.
• Support environmental reporting, including annual waste summaries, EPCRA Tier II Reports, SARA Toxics Release Inventory Reports, Air Emissions Inventory Reports, and annual compliance reports.
• Work with project managers and clients to help meet project objectives and scope, schedule, quality, and cost expectations.
• Seek and apply technical mentoring from senior staff while expanding technical knowledge, project ownership, and project management skills.
