Qualifications

3 years of experience in solid waste management, recycling, land use, or environmental health planning.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major in urban, regional, or environmental planning, environmental studies, environmental science, environmental or civil engineering, or a related field.
Experience in regulatory compliance and public outreach is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in permitting, planning, environmental compliance, and public outreach and education for solid waste and recycling programs; support wastewater and water management programs.
Analyze and interpret applicable laws and regulations.
