Job summary

Huber Engineered Woods is seeking an Environmental Coordinator at the Crystal Hill, VA facility to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations and coordinate capital and repair projects. The role supports water treatment, emissions testing, and regulatory reporting, reporting to the Environmental Manager.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, 3–5 years in a plant environmental/safety leadership role, and strong project

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in a plant environmental/safety facility leadership position.
• ESG-focused governance knowledge is preferred.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate environmental and safety regulations.
• Assist development of environmental policies and programs at Crystal Hill facility.
• Coordinate water treatment and waste management with site operations.
• Maintain emission inventories and environmental reporting (EPCRA, TRI, Tier II).
• Support stormwater, spill prevention and waste disposal programs.
• Assist in capital and repair projects and plant equipment improvements.
