This role involves leading the Environmental Management System and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, along with over 5 years of experience in an EHS role in manufacturing. The position offers a competitive salary between $65,000 and $85,000 annually, along with various benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k), and employee profit sharing.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in EHS position within a manufacturing environment.
Certification in ISO 14001 or ISO 45001, or ability to obtain it within six months.
Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
Lead and improve the Environmental Management System.
Ensure environmental regulatory compliance through audits.
Administer hazardous waste and wastewater programs.
Coordinate environmental compliance activities and audits.
Monitor and follow up on corrective actions.
Partner to prevent environmental impacts and health hazards.
Develop training and awareness programs for environmental stewardship.
