Job summary

Mitsubishi Films America (MFA) Greer, SC is seeking an Environmental Compliance professional to manage SDS interpretation, regulatory requirements, and environmental reporting. The role involves maintaining ERA data, compiling emissions reports, and supporting EPCRA/TRI activities to ensure site compliance.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, review data, and help maintain SWPPP/SPCC plans while supporting Product Stewardship and RC14001 systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical/science discipline with relevant experience.
• Five years of relevant experience preferred; strong candidates with a minimum of three years may be considered.
• Strong understanding of chemistry and regulatory requirements affecting environmental compliance and reporting.
• Ability to prepare accurate environmental reports within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review SDSs, chemical ingredients, and exposure information to manage the site chemical approval process.
• Evaluate regulatory considerations including environmental reporting, DOT shipping requirements, and exposure limits.
• Administer ERA database, maintaining SDSs, chemical data, and air/waste compliance.
• Collect and review monthly production and chemical usage data for inventories and reports.
• Prepare monthly air emissions, greenhouse gas, and asbestos reports; assist with Title V reports.
• Prepare EPCRA and TRI reports; support industrial hygiene monitoring at the site.
• Maintain SWPPP and SPCC plans; lead inspections and compliance efforts.
• Support Product Stewardship and maintain the ESH SharePoint site; assist RC14001 system.
