Job summary

Valero is seeking an Environmental Engineer at the Wilmington Refinery to support compliance with environmental regulations and permitting tasks. You will prepare reports, maintain records, and coordinate with Engineering and Operations to ensure timely, accurate compliance across programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Science and at least 2 years of environmental/refinery experience, with on-site work at the refinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Science is required.
• 2 years of environmental engineering, or related refinery engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and records.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to maintain compliance.
• Assist with regulatory permitting tasks and filings.
• Read and interpret company policies, guidelines and other documentation.
