Job summary

Abatement Testing Services in Boston, MA seeks an Environmental Compliance Coordinator to ensure operations meet federal, state, and local environmental regulations. You will monitor permits, track reporting deadlines, support audits, and help develop and implement policies to minimize environmental impact and regulatory risk.

You will coordinate asbestos/lead sampling activities, maintain documentation, and prepare compliance reports for regulators and management, emphasizing accuracy,

Qualifications

• EPA/state AHERA compliant asbestos worker/supervisor certification.
• EPA/state accredited lead abatement worker/supervisor certification.
• EPA/state accredited lead renovator certification (RRP).
• NIOSH 582 or equivalent air monitor certification.
• HAZWOPPER 24/40 Hour and asbestos awareness training.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos and lead sampling per project requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs and lab coordination.
• Communicate with project managers, safety teams, and clients to ensure quality and timelines.
• Maintain and manage documentation for compliance records, permits, and inspection reports.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Education

Asbestos Worker or Supervisor Certificate – EPA or state accredited (AHERA compliance)

Lead Abatement Worker or Supervisor Certificate – EPA or state accredited

Lead Renovator (RRP) Certificate – EPA or state accredited

Air Monitor (PCM/TEM) Certificate – NIOSH 582 or equivalent

Sampling Technician – HAZWOPER 24/40 Hour plus Asbestos Awareness
