Abatement Testing Services is seeking an Environmental Compliance Coordinator to ensure operations meet federal, state, and local environmental regulations. You will monitor permits, deadlines, audits, and help implement compliant policies to minimize risk.

The role emphasizes asbestos/lead sampling, documentation, and coordination with project teams to deliver timely regulatory reports and certifications.

Qualifications

• EPA/state accredited AHERA certificates required.
• EPA/state accredited Lead Abatement certificates a must.
• Lead Renovator (RRP) certificate required.
• Air Monitor (PCM/TEM) certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos and lead sampling per project requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs and lab coordination.
• Communicate with project managers, safety teams, and clients to ensure timelines.
• Maintain and manage documentation for compliance records and inspection reports.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Job Summary

The Environmental Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring organizational operations comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. This role monitors permits, tracks reporting deadlines, supports audits, and helps develop and implement policies that minimize environmental impact and regulatory risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos and lead sampling (bulk, dust, air, surface) per project requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, manifests, and lab coordination
• Communicate with project managers, safety teams, and clients to ensure quality and timelines
• Maintain and manage documentation for compliance records, permits, and inspection reports
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies

Qualifications

• Asbestos Worker or Supervisor Certificate – EPA or state accredited (AHERA compliance)
• Lead Abatement Worker or Supervisor Certificate – EPA or state accredited
• Lead Renovator (RRP) Certificate – EPA or state accredited
• Air Monitor (PCM/TEM) Certificate – NIOSH 582 or equivalent
• Sampling Technician – HAZWOPER 24/40 Hour plus Asbestos Awareness

Salary Description

$19 - $23 per Hour
