Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Environmental Compliance Coordinator to ensure operations meet federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The role monitors permits, tracks deadlines, supports audits, and helps develop policies that minimize environmental impact and regulatory risk.

You will collaborate with project managers, safety teams, and clients to ensure quality and timely delivery, maintain documentation for compliance records, and prepare reports for regulators and management.

Qualifications

  • AHERA-compliant credentials for asbestos management and inspection.
  • HAZWOPER 24/40 Hour certification and asbestos awareness required.
  • EPA/state accredited lead abatement and renovation certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform asbestos and lead sampling (bulk, dust, air, surface) per project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, manifests, and lab coordination.
  • Communicate with project managers, safety teams, and clients to ensure quality and timelines.
  • Maintain and manage documentation for compliance records, permits, and inspection reports.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Job Summary

The Environmental Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring organizational operations comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. This role monitors permits, tracks reporting deadlines, supports audits, and helps develop and implement policies that minimize environmental impact and regulatory risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform asbestos and lead sampling (bulk, dust, air, surface) per project requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, manifests, and lab coordination
  • Communicate with project managers, safety teams, and clients to ensure quality and timelines
  • Maintain and manage documentation for compliance records, permits, and inspection reports
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies
