Job summary

ERM is seeking a Consultant, Engineer to contribute to civil and environmental engineering projects from a Rochester, NY base. You will work with a global network to deliver designs and field support across energy, infrastructure, mining, and chemical sectors.

You will collaborate with planners, scientists, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions, manage field activities, and ensure health and safety adherence on multiple projects spanning a wide geography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, or related engineering field or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to research and prepare technical memorandums, field reports, and report sections
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for effective collaboration
• Driver's License required for travel to client locations across a large geographical area

Responsibilities

• Work in a remote/hybrid environment with clear communication on schedules and priorities
• Assist in civil/environmental design and project support including site plans
• Develop erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater management plans
• Participate in field work, sampling, construction monitoring, and reporting
• Manage multiple fast-paced projects across diverse geographies
• Ensure compliance with ERM’s Health and Safety Program
