Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is hiring an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard methods in a regulated lab environment. The role requires proper handling of organic solvents, glassware, and specialized equipment, with training provided for instrument software.

The position is 2nd shift, with a training period on a regular daytime schedule. Qualifications include a BS/BA in Chemistry (or equivalent) and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepares samples using standard techniques and performs chemical analysis.
• Evaluates and quantifies data and reports findings to the supervisor.
• Maintains and operates routine instruments and associated software; performs routine QC tasks.
• Ensures compliance with Eurofins Environment health and safety and quality assurance standards.
