Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Associate Chemist for Environment Testing on the 2nd shift (M-F, 3pm-11:30pm) in Lancaster, PA. The role focuses on instrumental analysis of environmental samples using GC/MS and other techniques.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or a related field or an Associate degree with related lab experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Record, evaluate and report data; communicate unusual test results to supervisor.
• Maintain and operate routine laboratory instruments and QC samples (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT).
• Keep training documentation current and accurate (IDOC/DOC).
• Inventory and stock laboratory supplies and ensure compliance with safety standards.
