Description:

• PRN - scheduled to work as needed
• Location: Silver Spring, MD
• Department: Environmental Services
• Reports to: Environmental Services Supervisor and/or Manager
• May receive guidance from the Supervisor, Assistant Director, or Nursing Department during evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

• Perform housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department
• Follow cleaning techniques, procedures, and equipment operation
• Provide timely, courteous, and safe services for patients, visitors, and staff
• Accept additional support assignments as needed to ensure service excellence

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Required:

• Ability to read and understand instructions in writing and orally
• Skills in reading, writing, using communication devices, and customer service
• Experience in housekeeping in healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning preferred
• Good physical condition and ability to work with hand and power tools

Pay Range:

$17.58 - $21.63 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Pay may vary by location.
