Clients need lawyers who understand both the legal framework and the technical risks. That specialized knowledge makes you the lawyer they request by name.

You’ll conduct environmental due diligence on major M&A deals. Recent transactions include a $21.4 billion life sciences acquisition, a $5.1 billion energy deal, and multiple private equity platform acquisitions. This is deal work, not regulatory compliance.

What you’ll do and why it builds your practice

Here’s how the daily work translates into long-term career value:

• You’ll review Phase I and Phase II environmental reports, which teaches you to spot technical red flags that financial analysts miss. This makes you more valuable on due diligence teams.
