Job summary

Luminis Health in Lanham, MD is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain a clean and sanitary hospital environment. You will disinfect surfaces, arrange areas, and support a friendly, patient-focused atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned areas by washing furnishings with approved disinfectants and arranging furniture per established standards.
• Empties, cleans and relines waste receptacles following universal precautions, and disposes of linen via linen chute.
• Dusts, sweeps and vacuums assigned areas according to Departmental standards and reports stains.
• Checks and replenishes disposable supplies daily (e.g. soap, paper towels, toilet tissue) in all assigned areas.
• Cleans and maintains all equipment in proper working order and reports to supervisor any repairs.
