Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking an Environmental Aide in a skilled nursing setting. This per diem role involves assisting nursing staff under supervision, transporting residents, and maintaining a clean, orderly environment.

Responsibilities include passing fluids, assisting with appointments, laundry and linen handling, and waste removal. Training and support are provided within Taylor Health’s skilled nursing department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Performs duties under RN/LPN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Passes fluids of Resident's choice.
• Transports residents to required destinations.
• Assists residents for outside appointments as assigned.
• Maintains residents' rooms clean and orderly.
• Handles soiled linen and follows standard precautions.
• Sorts and puts away laundry promptly.
• Returns clothing racks/bins to storage areas.
• Cleans and organizes pantries and utility rooms.
• Removes trash from assigned areas as needed.
