Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston, MI is seeking an Environmental Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment in hospital settings. This role focuses on cleaning patient areas, public spaces, and clinical rooms while adhering to infection control and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and English literacy, and some customer service or cleaning experience. The position supports a team-driven culture and service excellence across Trinity Health.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read and write English. Possesses basic math skills.
• Experience: Three months customer service or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain areas such as patient towers, public areas, exam rooms, offices.
• Identifies safety risks and helps address safety issues following safety policies.
• Maintains a clean environment conducive to patients, visitors, and co-workers’ well-being and safety.
• Communicates professionally with internal and external customers and participates in training of staff.
