Old Orchard Nursing and Respiratory Center is seeking an Environmental Aide to join our care-driven team. This role focuses on cleaning, housekeeping for resident rooms, and maintaining the facility’s cleanliness and safety to support high-quality care.

The position requires reliable, schedule-adherent individuals with experience in healthcare or commercial housekeeping. The Day shift (9 AM–5 PM) is full-time, with competitive pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Reliable and capable of following a schedule.
• May need to work a varied schedule as requested.
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year preferred.
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms.
• Clean common areas of the facility.
• Maintain high level of cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Remove trash and soiled linens; lift up to fifty pounds.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Environmental Aide to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)

Rate: $14.68-$17.51 per hour

Shift: Days 9 AM to 5 PM (Full-time)
