Job summary

Old Orchard Nursing and Respiratory Center is seeking an Environmental Aide to join our care-focused team in Toledo, OH. You will perform cleaning in resident rooms and common areas, ensure equipment is sanitary, and support a safe, welcoming environment for residents and families.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, reliability, and flexibility for a varied schedule. Prior healthcare or laundry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
• Reliable and able to maintain a schedule.
• May need to work a varied schedule as requested.
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year preferred.
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms.
• Clean common areas of the facility.
• Maintain high level of cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition.
• Remove trash and soiled linens; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work as a team member with a solid work ethic.
• Learn to operate commercial laundry equipment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Environmental Aide to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)

Rate: $14.68-$17.51 per hour

Shift: Days 9 AM to 5 PM (Full-time)
