Env Affairs Analyst – Chemistry/Fuels/Radiochemistry

  • Please Note: This position requires you to be On-Site, Full-Time @ 2480 Maner Rd, Atlanta, GA

JOB SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for providing support for routine analyses and laboratory operation. This includes, but is not limited to, wet chemistry procedures and analysis, coal and oil analysis, radiochemistry analysis, instrumental analysis, sample preparation, cleaning of glassware, sample receiving support (sample login, disposal, etc.), procedure review and revision.

Experience with any of the following analytical methods a plus: ion chromatography, gas chromatography, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, ICP-QQQ, Colorimetry, Gravimetric analysis, Calorimetry, XRF, solid phase extraction, gamma spectroscopy, liquid scintillation, or alpha/beta gas flow proportional counting.

Experience with LIMS software and Environmental Laboratory Accreditation would be a plus.

Job Requirements

BS in physical/natural science or engineering (preference for Chemistry, Biology, etc…)

Must be able to work within a team environment and a good listener.

Must be detail-oriented, self-directed and possess good organizational skills.

Experience With Quality Control Requirements For Processing Methods.

Computer proficiency using instrument and data management software.
