Job description
Overview

Designs, develops, and assists with implementation of new corporate programs, systems, or processes. Leads the transformation of business processes and operational tools to enable environmental excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Manages and participates in complex environmental projects, including strategic projects.
  • Works with various departments across the organization to ensure improvement of corporate environmental performance and provides guidance to accomplish goals.
  • Plans, develops, and implements environmental management programs, including environmental assessments, storage tanks, storm water, hazardous waste, air quality, emergency response related to fuel spills or other environmental hazards, and other compliance programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science or policy or a related field required.

Minimum Experience

Seven (7) years of Environmental Compliance, policy or related field required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies, and procedures related to environmental compliance laws and regulations required.

Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, web-based platforms.

Verbal and written communication to explain complex or confidential information.

Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.

Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.

The compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay for the lowest level to the current starting pay of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
