Job summary

Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an Environment Services Director to lead maintenance, safety, and housekeeping operations. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, coordinate repairs, and ensure the building and grounds are well-kept and compliant.

In this hands-on role, you will work with residents, families, and staff to keep the environment safe, comfortable, and efficient, while managing records and coordinating with outside vendors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds
• Complete routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Identify and address potential safety and maintenance concerns before they become larger problems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
• Maintain building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areas
• Coordinate repairs and services with outside vendors and contractors when needed
• Maintain appropriate records, inspections, and maintenance documentation
• Help ensure the facility remains compliant with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with emergency preparedness, including emergency equipment and facility
