Job summary

Pacific Legal Foundation invites recent law-school graduates to apply for a year-long Litigation Fellowship. You will support the Environment & Natural Resources team, develop public-interest cases from ground up, and gain hands-on training in research and writing while studying classical liberal principles guiding our work.

You will work with junior and senior attorneys, contributing to pre-litigation through discovery and appellate phases, with opportunities to propose ideas and advance

Qualifications

• A passion for liberty and public-interest law.
• Interest in environmental law.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of and passion for ideas of freedom and individual liberty.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with attorneys to develop precedent-setting cases.
• Actively participating in all stages of a case, from pre-litigation to discovery and appellate work.
• Drafting briefs, comment letters, and research memoranda.
