Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an EHS professional to oversee safety programs and regulatory compliance across sites. You will partner with leaders and employees to promote a hazard-free workplace and lead audits, incident investigations, and safety training.

Responsibilities include audits, emergency response planning, and ensuring adherence to EHS regulations. Strong leadership and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of EHS experience required.
  • CHST/ASP/CSP certifications preferred; OSHA 500 desirable.
  • Experience with incident investigation and employee care.
  • Strong leadership and field safety walk requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe working environment and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with leaders and sites to provide hazard-free workplaces.
  • Educate employees on EHS hazards and best practices.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections; manage emergency response.
  • Support EHS training and incident reporting.
  • Oversee safety in design, laser and radiation safety, and safety engineering.

Job description

Key responsibilities and focus areas include: Ensuring a safe working environment and promoting environmental responsibility. Partnering with leaders, individual contributors, and sites to provide a workplace free of recognized hazards. Providing tools and resources to educate employees on EHS hazards. Ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and country-specific EHS regulations. Reducing environmental impact through sustainable waste and environmental best practices. Managing employee safety, functional safety, operational safety, laser and radiation safety, safety in design and integration, safety engineering. Conducting site/space audits and inspections, emergency response, chemical compliance. Supporting EHS training, incident reporting

Skills set

Required 3 years' experience with preferred 5 or more.

Must for certificates would be CHST with preferred ASP/CSP. OSHA 500 large bonus

  • OSHA 30, First Aid
  • Incident investigation and employee care experience
  • Respectable attendance record
  • Complete daily walks, customer compliance asks
  • Audits pre task plans and equipment inspections
  • Attend customer and employer meetings. Be involved. Be a leader

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
