Position Overview

Tecfusions is seeking a Mid to Senior-level Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional to lead and scale the company’s environmental compliance, health and safety programs, and risk mitigation strategies across corporate and project environments.


This is a hands-on leadership role based in our Clearwater headquarters, supporting active infrastructure development, adaptive reuse projects, and ongoing data center operations. The position will partner closely with Operations, Construction, Engineering, Legal, and Executive Leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, safe project execution, and sustainable environmental practices.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead environmental compliance initiatives across development and operational sites.

  • Oversee permitting processes related to air, water, stormwater, waste management, and environmental impact.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, FDEP, OSHA).

  • Develop and maintain environmental management systems and controls (EMS) and sustainability reporting processes.

  • Partner with internal teams to evaluate environmental risk in site acquisition and development projects.


Health & Safety


  • Develop Health and Safety systems and controls

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs and policies.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations.

  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses across construction and operational environments.

  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

  • Develop safety training programs and foster a culture of accountability and prevention.


Construction & Infrastructure Support


  • Provide EHS oversight for construction activities, including contractor compliance.

  • Support pre-construction risk assessments and safety planning for EPC and design-build projects.

  • Partner with project managers to ensure safety standards are embedded in all site operations.

  • Track and report key EHS metrics to executive leadership.

  • Collaborate with Legal and Insurance teams on risk mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare documentation for regulatory audits and agency inquiries.

  • Support ISO-related initiatives where applicable.


Program Development


  • Build scalable policies and procedures to support multi-site expansion.

  • Implement contractor qualification and safety performance tracking systems.

  • Promote sustainable practices aligned with TECfusions’ environmental mission.


Qualifications

Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field required.

  • Master’s degree preferred but not required.


Experience


  • 7–15+ years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety roles.

  • Experience in infrastructure, industrial, energy, manufacturing, construction, or mission-critical environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience managing environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience supporting construction or development projects preferred.


Certifications (Preferred)


  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional)

  • CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)

  • OSHA certifications

  • In-office position based in Clearwater, Florida.

  • Periodic travel to operating sites and development locations required.

  • Combination of office-based program development and field-based oversight.
