Job summary

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for an immediate opening on a large-scale Construction Project in Boise, ID. The role involves leading safety compliance, conducting inspections, and promoting a zero-incident culture with project leadership and trade partners.

The position is a full-time, W-2 contract for 3-4 months with hourly pay between $45.00 and $50.00. Immediate start available for an on-site role in Boise, Idaho.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager – Immediate Need

SAVI EHS is actively seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for an immediate opening supporting a large-scale Construction Project in Boise, ID with a nation leading GC.

This position will work closely with project leadership and trade partners to ensure compliance with all safety requirements while promoting a proactive, zero-incident safety culture across the project.

Compensation

• $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
• Full-Time W-2 Position
• Immediate Start Available
• Duration: 3-4 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety compliance efforts across the project site.
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections, audits, and field observations.
• Facilitate site-specific safety orientations and ongoing training programs.
• Support crane activities and other high-risk construction operations.
• Participate in and review Daily Hazard Analyses (DHAs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and work-planning activities.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with project leadership to maintain a strong safety culture and achieve project safety objectives.
• Monitor subcontractor and trade partner compliance with project safety requirements.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site-specific EHS plans and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of construction EHS experience.
• Data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification required.
• CHST, STS-C, ASP, CSP, GSP, or other BCSP credentials preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety management platforms.
• Strong communication, leadership, and field engagement skills.
