Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals.
• Ability to read a ruler.

Responsibilities

• Check production jacket and envelopes for consistency with folding records.
• Inspect and pack envelopes, place rejects aside for final inspection.
• Perform quality checks on seal, back and window gum and color printing.
• Label cartons, stamp with date and operator number, and update the Machine Work Record.
• Assist with jams and simple machine adjustments and support lean activities.
