Job summary

Dupli Envelope & Graphics is seeking a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented Envelope Converting Adjuster to set up and maintain high-speed equipment for production runs in Syracuse, NY. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and monitor performance while ensuring accuracy in labeling and order specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Envelope Converting Adjuster, Folding Machine Technician, Machine Adjuster, or similar manufacturing equipment technician.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and production issues efficiently.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and work instructions.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up envelope converting equipment for production runs.
• Perform changeovers between jobs with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Monitor machine performance to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
