Responsibilities:
  1. Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals.
  2. Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited to, cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients.
  3. Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met.
  4. Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients.
  5. Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances.
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole.
  2. Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful.
  3. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus.
  4. Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required.
  5. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus.
  6. Must already have insurance license.
Compensation:

$75,000 at plan earnings
