Job summary

Dreams 2 Reality Recruitment is seeking an entry-level CDL Class B driver for Columbus, Ohio. The role offers a 1st shift, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule and pay up to $25.00 per hour.

You will safely operate Class B vehicles to collect and transport waste, following DOT regulations and company safety procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to gain hands-on driving experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• DOT medical certification/medical card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles on assigned routes in residential and commercial areas.
• Navigate high-traffic locations, narrow streets, tight spaces, and other challenging driving conditions safely and efficiently.
• Collect, transport, and handle residential and commercial waste in accordance with company standards and safety procedures.
• Perform assigned routes accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
• Travel between the company office, job sites, disposal facilities, and other locations as needed.
• Conduct daily operations in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety requirements.

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Entry-Level CDL Class B Driver to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated CDL Class B holder looking to build hands-on commercial driving experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

The driver will safely operate commercial vehicles in residential and commercial areas, transport and handle waste, and follow all applicable DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate is responsible, safety-conscious, comfortable working outdoors and in varying driving conditions, and eager to develop their skills as a professional commercial driver.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Valid DOT medical certification/medical card , or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Clean driving record with no more than three (3) moving violations within the past two years.
• No disqualifying DUI/OVI offenses.
• Prior commercial driving experience is not required ; entry-level CDL holders are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in residential and commercial environments.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.

• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report safety, maintenance, or equipment concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and professional driving record and demonstrate consistent safe-driving practices.
• Assist with additional operational duties as needed.
• Work overtime and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays , based on business needs.
