Primary Services is actively recruiting for an Entry Supply Chain Quality Control Associate to support a leading organization in the utility sector. In this role, you will contribute to quality assurance initiatives that ensure compliance with pipeline and electric operations. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals looking to launch a career in quality control, utilities, or process improvement while gaining exposure to exciting infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work order processing and track issues to resolution, including communication of results to stakeholders.
  • Review and process contractor service invoices for selected utility work types and regions.
  • Generate and analyze reports to verify accuracy and timeliness of work order data, including Retirement, Unitization, and CWIP reports.
  • Conduct systematic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of company records.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to correct and update inaccurate work orders.
  • Perform quality assurance testing to confirm compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procedures and effectively communicate recommendations.
  • Support preparation and data compilation efforts for government audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and relevant utility experience totaling four years will be considered.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in gas or electric distribution.
  • At least 1 year of experience using SAP for work order management.
  • Preferred certifications include ASQ Certified Auditor or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Familiarity with FileNet, ServiceHub, ERSI, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau is desirable.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and process audit techniques preferred.
