Seeking an entry-level Sound Designer for an upcoming commercial project, filming mid November 2026. This is a paid opportunity, compensation TBD (negotiable) based on experience. We're looking for someone to craft the sonic landscape for a dynamic, fast-paced commercial spot promoting an innovative tech product. The tone is modern, energetic, and a bit futuristic, requiring creative soundscapes that elevate the visuals and messaging. Key responsibilities include creating original sound effects, editing dialogue, Foley, and mixing all audio elements to a broadcast-ready standard. You'll work closely with the director and editor to achieve the desired auditory experience. Candidates should have a basic understanding of sound design principles, proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro), and access to their own audio workstation. Experience with commercial projects is a plus but not strictly required for this entry-level role. A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating your sound design capabilities, even from student or personal projects, is essential. The post-production schedule is approximately 3-4 weeks, starting in late November 2026, primarily remote but with occasional in-person sessions in New York, NY for collaboration and final mix review. A rough cut will be provided by late November.
