Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to federal contract requirements and/or eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.
• Entry level knowledge of project management methodology including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, and finance and accounting concepts and practices.
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills in fast paced environments requiring daily shifting of priorities.
• Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills with staff and vendors.
• Entry knowledge of Enterprise Project Portfolio Management tools (Primavera).
• Basic knowledge of Project Performance tools (EcoSys).
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• Ability to deal with many people and process a variety of requests.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and regulations for federal projects.
• Gathers progress data from project team to update schedules, costs and resource forecasts.
• Develops time‑phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs and updates baselines.
• Monitors progress and performs routine earned value reporting and basic financial analyses.
• Maintains documentation and uses document management protocols for project files.
