We are seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who is committed to providing top-notch care and is well-versed in dealing with conditions related to the pelvic floor. This role requires a deep understanding of the human body's musculoskeletal system, a patient-centric approach, and a dedication to ongoing professional development - no previous Pelvic Health experience is required but you must be interested in the specialty and willing to learn!

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with pelvic floor disorders, utilizing a comprehensive and patient-centered approach.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy, including internal and external pelvic floor therapy.
  • Educate patients on pelvic floor dysfunction and provide them with strategies to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a comprehensive care plan.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in pelvic floor therapy, incorporating new techniques and approaches into practice as appropriate.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including conferences, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Current state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, including both internal and external pelvic floor therapy.

Strong understanding of the human musculoskeletal system and the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Experience with electronic medical records and documentation software.

Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care, with a focus on improving quality of life.
