Job description

Position Title: Entry Manufacturing Laborer - 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $19.81/hr

Bonuses:

  • Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months
  • Retention Bonus: $500 after 1 year, additional lump sum after 2 years

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time

Location: 200 Butcher Rd, Waxahachie, TX 75165

The Job You Will Perform:
  1. Check for count accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  2. Identify and communicate quality issues to the control room or wet end operator.
  3. Measure finished sheets for accuracy.
  4. Insert proper load tags into finished units.
  5. Check units for appearance.
  6. Operate count station and load tag printer.
  7. Restack non-conforming units.
  8. Handle warped bundles or other special requirements by hand-flipping.
  9. Document non-conforming materials on the disposition sheet.
  10. Determine if orders are complete or partial.
  11. Wear all required personal protective equipment.
  12. Proficiently use/ read tape measures and utility knives safely.
  13. Maintain a clean work environment, including floors.
  14. Safely lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  15. Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  16. Prepare and set in place the "Top" dunnage for unit strapping.
  17. Count and stack finished products.
  18. Read and interpret orders.
