Job summary

Seaway Plastics is seeking a detail‑oriented production team member to follow work instructions and ensure quality parts on a per‑mold basis. You will maintain clean, organized workstations, report inefficiencies, and adhere to company manufacturing standards while supporting safety protocols and clear communication across operators and supervisors.

Responsibilities include recognizing rejects, documenting issues, and following the Seaway color‑coded lighting system to request help when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to ensure quality parts.
• Maintain manufacturing standards to produce acceptable parts.
• Maintain cycle times and report inefficiencies to process technician or supervisor.
• Recognize and record rejects.
• Report excessive rejects per work instructions.
• Follow IQMS and ISO standards.
• Follow and support safety standards.
• Recognize and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.
• Follow colored light communication system when needing help.
• Communicate effectively from operator to relief operator.
• Perform processes and tasks for each mold’s production.
