Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking an entry-level Welder for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the Houston, TX area. The ideal candidate is a recent welding school graduate or someone with basic welding knowledge who wants to start a career in manufacturing.

You will assist in fabricating, repairing, and assembling industrial equipment, while developing hands-on welding skills and working under experienced welders and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Basic SMAW welding skills required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Must be able to pass a weld test.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic Stick Welding (SMAW) tasks.
• Assist with fabrication, repair, and assembly of industrial equipment and components.
• Operate welding equipment, hand tools, grinders, and measuring tools.
• Follow welding procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work closely with experienced welders and supervisors to develop skills and knowledge.
