Entry-level role with hands-on training to develop welding skills. You will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean area, read measurements, and work as part of a team to complete tasks on time while learning multiple welding processes.

Qualifikationen

• Basic welding knowledge or experience preferred.
• Welding school, vocational training, or previous shop experience is a plus.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and take basic measurements.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn welding and fabrication processes.

Aufgaben

• Perform basic welding using appropriate welding processes and equipment.
• Weld and join metal components according to instructions, drawings, or work orders.
• Assist with fitting and positioning materials prior to welding.
• Use grinders, cutting tools, measuring devices, and other basic fabrication equipment.
• Inspect completed welds for basic quality and workmanship.
• Follow established welding procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Assist experienced welders and other shop employees as needed.
• Complete assigned work accurately and within expected production timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
