Job summary

Cyclonaire is seeking a Welder/Fabricator 1 for our York, Nebraska production team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, the chance to learn welding and fabrication processes, and to contribute to high‑quality equipment used by customers worldwide. Previous experience is a plus but not required.

You will fabricate components, read drawings, measure parts, and use hand and power tools safely. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement is expected as you grow with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read tape measures and follow drawings.
• Willingness to learn Cyclonaire processes.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components using MIG welding, drilling, grinding, sawing, and other fabrication techniques.
• Read and follow technical drawings, shop orders, and work instructions.
• Measure accurately and fabricate parts to specification.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic welding issues.
• Complete daily equipment checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support production leads, Engineering, and Quality to ensure parts are built accurately and efficiently.
• Continue developing welding and fabrication skills.
