Job description

We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team!

Perform a wide range of welding tasks. Cut, prepare, and set materials on tables or jigs. Weld using MIG/ARC welding equipment and techniques. Work from sales orders and/or verbal instructions to locate materials and process them. Activities mainly involve welding standard-size gate frames, along with other miscellaneous welding tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products on jigs or tables using MIG/ARC welding equipment.
  • Follow verbal or written instructions to meet product specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance on miscellaneous machinery.
  • Inspect completed materials to ensure they meet proper specifications.
  • Use hand tools to apply additional fittings as necessary.
  • Calculate material measurements, verify specifications, and inspect quality.
  • Assist with miscellaneous duties as needed, including loading/unloading materials and fulfilling customer orders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in welding and torch cutting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures (MIG/ARC).
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Proficient use of hand tools.
  • High School Diploma (GED); Associate Degree is a bonus.
