Job summary

Inframark is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to inspect, maintain, and repair municipal water and wastewater equipment. This entry-level role supports operations by performing preventative maintenance under guidance.

You will assist lead technicians, keep tools and spaces organized, and help with daily maintenance tasks while adhering to safety policies. Weekend and after-hours availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team setting.
• Prior water or wastewater facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment to extend service life.
• Cleans and maintains tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Prepares maintenance rigs and tools for daily operations.
• Repairs or replaces pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, and mechanical components.
• Maintains records of work orders and completed tasks.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance tests and inspections.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures.
• Available for all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings, and on-call rotations.
• Other duties as assigned.
