Job summary

Inframark is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment to extend its service life in our facilities. This role supports operations by performing preventative and corrective maintenance under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting the Lead Maintenance Technician, preparing maintenance rigs, cleaning tools and workspaces, performing routine tests, keeping accurate work orders, and following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0–1 year of relevant experience or training.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Prior water or wastewater treatment facility experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to write simple correspondence and follow written/oral instructions.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and assist in team-based environments.
• Prior water or wastewater treatment facility experience preferred.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred).
• Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certification or ability to obtain.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairways safely.
• Must be able to pass a fit-test for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
